George Olive founded Sanglier in 2019 to provide strategy and operations consulting in the lower middle market, helping new businesses scale and mature businesses innovate. George has also acted as a senior advisor to Actionist Consulting and its clients, as well as to Rallyday Partners and its portfolio companies. His interests include the energy transition, social enterprise, and the evolving provision of core goods and services.

His interests include the energy transition, social enterprise, and the evolving provision of core goods and services.
In five years with McKinsey & Company, he worked in utilities, oil and gas, and chemicals on enterprise-wide and asset-level profitability, organizational change, and capability building. After leaving McKinsey, he became the first COO of Everytable, an award-winning healthy restaurant chain focused on low-income neighborhoods with 38 locations across southern California.
His undergraduate work at Columbia, for which he won a Rhodes scholarship, was in economics and earth science; at Oxford, he studied the build-out of electricity in New York City (1880–1920).
​​George is from the Ozarks and lives in Los Angeles. He is on excellent terms with every dog in his neighborhood and enjoys crosswords, birdwatching, and amusing his wife and daughter.
